Delco Water’s Reverse Osmosis and Nanofiltration solutions are designed specifically for the unique requirements of each end user’s water quality and properties. Reverse Osmosis and Nanofiltration are the two spiral wound membrane technologies are ideal for widespread TDS removal.  There are a wide array of membranes with varying characteristics to suit your application.

Key Features

  • Customized Engineering & Considerations

Each Reverse Osmosis or Nanofiltration skid is designed with your unique water quality needs in mind. Our Engineering team develops solutions using different blends and arrays of membranes to maximize recovery. We work with all membrane suppliers, ensuring we picking the right product for your application.  We will review considerations for pre-treatment and other design options or enhancements that may provide value.

  • HydraMAX Control System

We are proud to work closely with Delco’s Automation division to deliver sophistic automated systems that ensure operator confidence in the status of the system, deliver on treated water volumes, and adhere to the latest in industry advances such as HMI interfacing and membrane maintenance modes. Our skidded modular solutions come complete with our HydraMAX automated control system. This interface allows users to trend all membrane related health metrics, track system upsets, and flag concerning situations or changes. Featuring high-performance HMI screens and a control system developed in house, our innovative control systems allow our clients to have peace of mind when it comes to operating and maintaining their system. We integrate industry updates, field service and site feedback and apply to our instrumentation selection, operation modes, and control features.

  • High Quality Fabrication

At Delco, we believe our systems should be equally aesthetically appealing and durable. Our material supply partners are chosen based on quality and history. Each skid is built and tested in-house, from mechanical fabrication to skid wiring and panel building.

Key Advantages

The Delco Team offers an abundance of experience and collaboration with membrane manufacturer partners around the world. We leverage feedback from project stakeholders, and from our Field Service group as they execute contracts for annual site maintenance agreements and performance monitoring, to improve our product and continue to improve.

Site specific data is utilized to tailor the system to the specific needs of the client to meet treated water quality, maximize recovery, minimize footprint, reduce both maintenance frequency and operating costs, and any other customer defined constraints. It is our minimum standard to include interstage piping to meet all membrane cleaning recommendations, with optional instrumentation to measure individual stage health.

Delco's UltraFX Process

UltraFX is a two-step solution popularized by Delco Water for cold surface water applications where the primary items of concern are turbidity, dissolved organic carbon and colour. Ultrafiltration is used as the primary pre-treatment to remove turbidity and total suspended solids. Chlorine tolerant membranes are used in a Nanofiltration system to remove dissolved organics and colour, while allowing the passage of the majority of other dissolved constituents such as hardness and other trace metals. This strategy chases the items of concern without over treating the water, resulting in minimized chemical and energy consumption.
