Delivering Clean Water: A Decade of Community Partnership
Transforming Communities, One Drop at a Time
Since November 2015, when the Government of Canada committed to lifting all long-term drinking water advisories in First Nations communities, Delco has played a crucial role in transforming water infrastructure across Saskatchewan and beyond. We are proud to share an update on our meaningful contribution to this vital national initiative.
The Progress:
Since 2015, we have been involved in 40 long-term advisories in 27 First Nations communities across Canada that have been successfully lifted.
Our treatment equipment is now running in all 3 remaining Saskatchewan communities, covering 4 advisories total. All are expected to be recommended for lifting shortly.
We’re actively working in multiple provinces to resolve additional advisories across Canada.
Our Biofiltration, Reverse Osmosis, Greensand and Hollow Fiber Nanofiltration systems are built to serve communities reliably for years to come, backed by comprehensive service contracts and ongoing operator training.
As we approach the final stretch of this national initiative, we remain committed in developing products and services to help ensure every First Nations community has access to safe, reliable drinking water.
